Affiliate and commercial disclosure
Current status
Beyond Grid Life is not currently a member of any affiliate programme. No link on this site currently earns a commission. If that changes, this page will list each programme by name, and links that can earn commission will be labelled “Affiliate” beside the link.
How product links work
- Global: links go to the manufacturer’s own product page.
- A specific market (for example Australia): links go to a relevant retailer for that market—sometimes a first-aid organisation’s own shop, otherwise a search on that market’s Amazon site.
- Where a product should not be bought for a market (for example, distress beacons are coded for the country where they are registered), we say so instead of linking a shop.
- If Beyond Grid Life earns from a link, it costs you nothing extra. The retailer sets the price.
How products are chosen
- Products are chosen because they fit a specific field guide—not because of commission rates, and no one pays for placement.
- Every listing shows a “Know the limit” caution. We do not publish prices, because they go out of date.
- Beyond Grid Life has not laboratory-tested these items and does not certify them. Manufacturers’ claims should be checked against their specifications.
- If we ever receive free products or payment from a brand, we will say so on the listing.
- The free starter checklists never require you to buy anything. Most items are things households already own.
What Beyond Grid Life does not do
Beyond Grid Life does not sell or ship products, does not take payments and does not collect payment details. Orders, delivery, returns, warranty and product safety are the responsibility of the retailer you buy from.
